This was quite a different trial environment to the Upper Squad (US) sesssion last week. There were 18 Poly players to get on court in the same amount of time that 9 players had last week.
I worked for several hours (yes, honestly) on combinations and rotations to ensure that everyone had their fair share of court time - I think it worked.
It was great to see lots of 'old' faces that had been missing throughout August due to previous committments and they mixed very well with the new players.
Capital Nuns were very strong and much more organised that we were on court, some of their US players taking to the court. However many of our LS gave them a run for their money, and there were several standout performances.
Thanks to everyone for making the effort to travel South of the River, and a big thanks to Capital NUNS for their hospitality. Same again next year?!
